I love to have pictures done of my boys every year and at Christmas time in order to see the changes in their faces. For a few years I was going to chain studios, and I was never happy with the outcome of the photos. The photographers were never engaged enough to get one of my twins to smile. He has always been shy. Thankfully in 2009 I met Tara through my little guys preschool, and she had the enthusiasm to get them to smile. Ever since then, Tara has been coming to our home twice a year to take our yearly photos. Each time she has captured the true spirit and silliness of all three of my boys. Tara has a true passion for the work she does, and does not look at each session as a job, but as a memoir for our family.  I have always believed that if you are doing what you love, then you will never “work” another day in your life and that shows in Tara’s photos. I had both my daughters’s senior pictures done by Tara Brooks and we were very satisfied. Tara is easy to work with, tries her best to capture the essence of the student she’s photographing, and her prices are reasonable. She keeps in touch too and produces the photos in a timely manner. Tara asks lots of questions and tries very hard to work with the student to make sure they are getting photos that suit their personalities.  As for the quality of the photos, both the studio and the outdoor shots were beautiful and we had so many great photos to choose from that we had trouble making our final decisions!

As the time drew near for us to have Senior pictures done for our daughter Jennifer, I tried to contact the same photographer who had done them for our older daughter.  I was not able to reach him, my daughter was checking out some photographers online, and then we saw pictures of a friend of Jen’s; done by Tara! They were beautiful!  Jen and I met with Tara, we both let her know what we were hoping for as we wanted indoor and outdoor options, Jen wanted her two most favorite activities (soccer and dance) captured in photos, and I had a few “special” frame requests as well.  Tara was great!  Jennifer’s senior pictures are beautiful!  Her capture of Jen’s love for soccer and dance, extending the session to get both indoor and outdoor shots for us, devoting extra time to find my frames, was very much appreciated.  She is very passionate about her work and strives to ensure customer satisfaction.  We are very pleased we chose Tara to do our daughter’s Senior pictures.
